TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, click here pricing, and heretabtrade review the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
